Efficiency for a Sustainable Future

Tarshid develops, manages, and implements a comprehensive program for retrofitting street lighting across the kingdom in cooperation with municipalities, ministries, and other government entities. This program aims to enhance energy efficiency and reduce its consumption, standardize the technical specifications for locally produced LED streetlights and set unified standards for street classification nationwide. By Collaborating with the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center and the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization, this program will uplift the street lighting in the kingdom and promote a more sustainable and efficient lighting infrastructure.

Tarshid manages and finances the retrofit and public facilities regarding energy efficiency, exclusively for government projects and competitively for commercial ones in other projects. We contract with energy services companies (ESCOs) to execute, operate, and maintain retrofitting projects while sharing the savings in energy bills as a financial return on our investments, thus allowing building owners to realize energy efficiency and achieve sustainability goals without raising capital.

Tarshid develops and supports renewable energy solutions from the production side, such as photovoltaic solar energy on rooftops and, to assist in using the energy efficiency measures.

Tarshid’s Advisory Services offer a holistic suite of solutions to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. Our advisory role is pivotal in improving energy utilization and integrating sustainable practices. We conduct detailed energy audits to spotlight energy savings opportunities and guide effective implementation.
